About the Event
The IEEE UMaT Student Branch Meetup, Mentorship, and Networking event is a flagship gathering organized alongside ICSSID 2026. The event brings together students, professionals, researchers, and industry stakeholders to foster collaboration, mentorship, and innovation.
A key highlight of the event is the Humanitarian Technologies Board (HTB) training focused on community-driven projects. Participants will be introduced to IEEE programs such as SIGHT, EPICS in IEEE, and MOVE, with practical guidance on developing impactful community projects and accessing funding opportunities.
